Build, preview and send Discord embeds and messages through a webhook. Free, no sign-up, and the preview matches what your members will see.
The builder is Discohook, a free open-source embed builder. Open it in a new tab for more room.
Three steps, about a minute. You need the Manage Webhooks permission in the channel.
Use the builder above to add message text, then one or more embeds with an author, title, description, fields, images and a footer. The preview updates as you type.
In Discord, open Server Settings → Integrations → Webhooks, click New Webhook, pick the channel and click Copy Webhook URL.
Paste the webhook URL into the builder and click Send. The message appears in that channel with the name and avatar you chose.

Author with icon and link, title and URL, description with markdown, up to 25 fields, image, thumbnail, footer, timestamp and color.
Combine message text with several embeds, and set a custom username and avatar for the webhook.
No bot to install. Paste a webhook URL from any channel you manage and send the message straight away.
Choose "Edit as components" in the builder to make a Components V2 message with containers, sections, galleries and buttons.
Build and send embeds without creating an account.
Discord rejects messages that go over these limits, so check them before you send. The 6,000 character total counts every title, description, field, footer and author name across all embeds in the message.

Components V2 is Discord's newer layout format with containers, sections, galleries and buttons. Use "Edit as components" in the builder to make one. VaultCord's verify message editor uses it.
Embed descriptions and field values support Discord markdown. Titles and field names support only part of it, and headings and lists work in descriptions, not in titles.

Check that you or the webhook can post in that channel, and that your Discord app has "Show embeds and preview website links" turned on in Settings → Chat.
Image links must be public and point straight at the file (ending in .png, .jpg, .gif or .webp). Links to a page that contains the image will not work.
The webhook may have been deleted, or the message is over a limit in the table above. Create a new webhook or shorten the text and try again.
Webhook messages can mention users and roles, but pings depend on the role being mentionable and on the webhook settings. Test in a private channel first.
VaultCord's verify message editor builds Components V2 messages with a Verify button, a "Why?" button and your own colors, and the verification behind it blocks raids, alts and VPN ban evaders.
An embed is a formatted block inside a Discord message, with a colored bar on the left. It can hold an author, title, description, up to 25 fields, images and a footer, which makes it useful for announcements, rules and server info.
Regular members cannot type embeds into the chat box. You need a bot or a webhook. The quickest way is to build the embed in the generator on this page, create a webhook in the channel, paste its URL and click Send.
Yes. The builder is free and does not need an account. It is powered by Discohook, an open-source embed builder.
Open Server Settings → Integrations → Webhooks, click New Webhook, choose the channel the messages should go to and click Copy Webhook URL. You need the Manage Webhooks permission.
Treat a webhook URL like a password: anyone who has it can post in that channel. Do not share it publicly, and if it leaks, delete the webhook in Discord and create a new one.
Pick a color in the builder. Discord stores embed colors as a decimal number, so if you send embeds from your own bot, convert the hex code with the color converter on this page.
Messages sent by a webhook can be edited by that same webhook if you have the message link. Messages sent by other bots can only be edited by that bot.
Components V2 is Discord's newer message format with containers, sections, galleries and buttons instead of embeds. A Components V2 message cannot also contain classic embeds or plain message content. The builder on this page makes them with "Edit as components", and VaultCord's verify message editor uses them too.
